Two trades
Why are a cobbler and a locksmith in one shop?
Both are counter trades that fix the small things people carry every day: shoes, bags, keys, cards and remotes. The signboard says it in Malay, Perkhidmatan Kunci dan Kasut, key and shoe services, and lists what comes over the counter:
- Keys, locks and batteries
- All types of remote control, autogate remotes and access cards
- Shoes, bags, luggage and leather goods
So one trip to Pearl Point covers a suitcase wheel, a heel and a spare key. See luggage repair, shoe and bag repair and keys and locks.
